مرض شائع بين الاطفال JUVENILE ONSET OF DM
CAUSES
1- autoimmuno destrucyion of b cells of pancrease

so absolute deficiency of insulin

2- idiopathic destruction of b cells not due to autoantibodies

markers
1- detect antibodies aganist b cells

2- detect of antibodies aganist glutamic acid decarboxylase

diagnosis
1-symptoms of dm (poly urination --poly paghia--poly dipsia)

weight loss weakness

dry skin

and ketoacidosis specially and mainly in type 1

2-fasting blood glucose more than 126 mg/dl

b---- anticatabolic effect

inhibit gluconeogensis , glycogenolysis, lipolysis , protolysis
